Does anyone know how much KB they use a month on there iphone...
I am getting the tmobile 100MB a month plan. Im wondering if that is enough.

I currently have a 3g helio ocean and the most i have ever used is 30 but im guesing i will use more with the iphone.

here's my last 3 months.
jan: 180mb
feb: 62mb
mar: 52mb

i think i average around 100mb. this is all from youtube and internet use.
i'd but up near 150mb more often if i didn't have wifi at home.

Got my iPhone 3G on launch day ad have used 1.34GB total. That comes out to about 170MB of data per month- most of which is probably email.

The most i have ever used in 1 month was the first full month after the 3G came out and i was in a 3G network area. I used 1.3GB, but my monthly average now is about 100-200MB. I am also at a university that has wi-fi everywhere. But on edge your data usage will be less. What are t-mobile's choices for their data plans?

yeah so you will be connected to wifi for about 80-90% of the day. you will probably use very little data through the cell network.

i would get the 100mb plan and just monitor your data usage throughout the first month. and adjust it as necessary. and unlimited txting is a godsend lol.

the numbers shown in the usage page are only what u use over cell networks which is all u should care about.

Hmmm, that is relatively cheap... Do you know if there is a way to disable internet usage after the 100mb limit is reached? I didn't realize that T-Mobile was indeed this cheap. I have the original iPhone and I need unlimited texting and on the original it comes paired with the data plan which is unlimited. The thing is at my college, work, home, and pretty much every single place I visit has wi-fi that I connect to and I barely ever use my edge data connection. So I am pretty much paying a ridiculous amount of money for an unlimited data plan that I use little to none of. If the T-Mobile plan allows you to cut off your data ability to prevent from overage charges I would definitely do this...

Where did you find this?

This is the exact setup that i have been looking for but i cannot seem to find it. Where did you see this plan?

I did find where you can add this service to an existing plan but you have to get an existing plan for 30 bucks a month, so you end up having to pay 50 bucks a month, why not just go to boost mobile and get unlimited everything for 50 dollars a month?

I just got an iphone 2G and would really like to get a service that has at least data, not even that much, for an "OK" price.

Any Suggestions?

For my Dad, with the original iPhone he uses about 30 MB... mostly for his stocks.

I tend to use a little over 100 MB a month.
:)

Last month I used 64MB and that's probably my highest. But I mostly use it at home or work where I have WiFi.

My gf just used 8GB and I only used 500mb last month. Obviously I have wifi and she doesn't.
