I am sure that all of you guys have a PPC which you have been pinching away parts to the extent, it's pretty much in a skeletal stage...
From this 17" iMac G5, I have pinched the HDD, ram, Stand and the optical drive recently...next is the PSU, if it 's a match for the target. Show us your 'abused' PPC !

I don't have any Macs like that. Usually try to keep all of them running.

But back in the day before the final logicboard failure of my TiBook…clips applying pressure to keep it running and not freezing.

so this is the the TiBook which you have transplanted the LCD !
No. It's the one that donated it's LCD to my son's 1GHZ DVI…below.

So, yeah, I guess in a way you could say it was cannablized. :D

The optical drive went to another member here, the case is in pieces and I have parts all over the garage.

I'm 99.9% sure I have asked this before, but what Emulators does your son use for his retro gaming on the Ti? I'd love to play some retro games on my PowerBooks when I'm on the go with them or when I don't feel like blowing on cartridges to get the real ones working, LOL. I know on Intel Lion+ there is OpenEmu (which I love because it's like 30 emulators in one extremely simple to use app).

Let me get back to you on that. He's lost privileges until Monday night and I'd have to dig it out to check.

Oh, ok :p

Well when his privileges are restored, show him this;

SMB3 on an actual 1985 NES! Not sure if you guys have one, so...

Sure. He'll get a kick out of that. :D

We don't, just a Wii. In fact, it's on right now. He and his sister are using it.

Never had an NES. By the time I started getting serious with games I had a Commodore 64 and by 1990 a PC. That was always more my focus. ;)

So PC master race from the start, huh? :p Before I collected Macs, vintage video games were my main thing. I have every Nintendo console accept for an SNES, GameBoy Color, and VirtualBoy (which I have no intentions of wanting). I also have a PS4, Xbox One, had an Xbox 360, and I have a SEGA Game Gear that barely works. I'd love to get some SEGA consoles and an Atari 2600 at some point, as well as the remaining Nintendo consoles. I've only recently gotten into major PC gaming. I've had games on computers since I was less than a year old though. RollerCoaster Tycoon was by far my favorite game from my childhood on PC. For consoles, Super Monkey Ball and Super Mario Sunshine on GameCube were my life (I actually just played both of them yesterday for the first time in years).
