I am concerned about my Late 08 Macbook 2.0GHz.
I am already on my 43rd battery cycle after a month of owning it.
I would probably use my Macbook for internet surfing for about a total of 4 hours a day, occasionally listening to music as well.

My question is, does it seem like my battery has a fault? I am going to an Apple Store tomorrow and I'm wondering if I should get it checked out whilst I am there.

Thanks.

I am at 38 cycles after 5 weeks. I don't think yours is abnormal. I would not worry if the health is still 100%.

Battery cycles have NOTHING to do with battery health. One battery cycle equals one 100% charge. 43 cycles just means your battery has been fully charged 43 times.. So if you want less cycles, just use your laptop plugged in. I use mine plugged in about 90% of the time. I've had it about 2.5 weeks and i have 5 cycles on it. So unless you HAVE to run it on battery, I would keep it plugged in most of the time, just MAKE sure you calibrate it at least once a month/per Apple.

If you still have decent battery life (as in over 3.5/4 hrs) your battery should be fine.
