I'm very eager to buy a second generation 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

I'd like to hear some predictions as to when you think it may be introduced.

In addition, it would be interesting to hear what you'd like to see in this upcoming new model.

Haswell variant of the Intel Core i7 with improved power management and better GPU. I think there is a small chance we will see the Retina Macbook Pro with 802.11ac wireless for 1GB wifi speeds as Apple is working on it but I'm doubtful we will see that this year.

That's it.

EDIT: We may also see OSX 10.9 this summer so its possible it could very well ship with the next Retina Macbook update.

I agree, upgraded internals, same design.

I think we'll definitely see 802.11ac in all computers that are refreshed this year. Also, a new TimeCapsule with hopefully a new design.

Moderately better CPU, marginally better GPU. I don't really see much happening with the 15".

What I want to see is Apple to BRING BACK THE 17"!

And just all-round optimisation of the rMBP line.

Semi-gloss, semi-matte retina screen.
Faster SSD's or slower. Non Samsung either way. Up to 1TB!
3rd USB port or not.
Updated CPU's 100MHz bump (Haswell)
Don't think they'll update the GPU but something could launch that would be appropriate.

intel is giving all of their haswell chipsets wifi ac by default. Apple would have to be pretty silly not to include it.
Also, probably a small redesign on the inside only and a $100-200 price cut.

I want to know why they don't release a LTE version!!!!!!!!!:confused:That would be innovative

It's looking like no major hardware changes, but more consistent performance from improved Retina display manufacturing, better drivers, and possibly OS X 10.9 would make for a pretty tempting upgrade.
