Im pretty new to the investing although have been reading a lot. I just recently turned 18 and am interested in trading stocks. I was wondering if anyone could share their broker and personal experiences with them? Thanks.

I haven't begun really trading, but I have been virtually trading with OptionXpress for about a year or so now. They are sending me all the paperwork via FedEx tomorrow so that I can actually begin trading with real money at stake.

You should check them out. Great customer service even when you're not giving them money.

Congrats on getting interested and started on investing! :)

I would suggest that instead of purchasing stocks directly at first, that you get a good index mutual fund that follows the S&P500.

That way you can start investing right away and follow the market. Once you understand and get a feel for ups and downs then you can venture into purchasing stocks directly via a broker.
