Your system has run out of application memory

Went from an 2012 (i think) 11'' air to a 2018 13'' air. Did the migrate to transfer my files from the old to the new air.

Only difference is I made an iphone backup on the phone, but I've since deleted that backup and I still get the error message.

New one should be faster, more ram, etc., but I get a lot of fan noise, lags and I get the following error message. I need the Citrix program for work so I can't delete it.

Citrix Viewer is severely broken. I think it's very out of date, it's Citrix Workspace now. You'll have to fix it, likely by upgrading. There's probably no way around it.

Is that 64GB being dedicated to just Citrix Viewer? You must be page swapping a lot.

What OS were you using on your 2012? What one are you currently using?

Citrix might be broken for the OS you are using. If using 10.15, try going back to 10.14 or 10.13.
