Gents & Ladies - tell me if this seems like a decent buy for $1599

Looking to replace a couple of worn out Toshiba windows based laptops. The MBAs are nice but we have iPads for portability so this machine will be "local" 90% of the time. This is more than I wanted to spend but I love the dedicated graphics for gaming. Honestly though, it may be overkill seeing as I wont be doing any video editing, photoshop, any of that. Hmmm....
