Well, would be good to work up from normal tv, then get the lower definition HD sorted first. There's a lot of convergence anyhow between streaming data for speakers, networked macs and monitors and or tv's. In need of a faster bandwidth standard? Then you could have wireless monitors for macs, and other more useful/fun possibilities.
 
I think its a great idea. I would definately purchase a wireless display that works with laptops. :D
 
Well it's already possible to link a scart device to a TV wirelessly and I used the same device to connect a PC to a Data Projector using S-Video some time back for my church, so making a similar product for HD would seem a logical step.
