You see it all the time “Which size suits me” and sometimes it looks ridiculously big or tiny. This is often more down to the way the photos taken. The zoom you choose and how close the camera is.

Me: 160cm wrist, 41mm Watch
First photo. Using the 0.5 zoom
The smallest watch available looks huge. Lugs over the side.
Second photo. 3x zoom
A more reasonable size. Maybe a touch small (the 42mm was perfect for me)
When I look at it with the human eye at a natural distance the 3x zoom gives the most realistic representation.
It’s all down to how lenses cause expansion or compression of the image (no, not file size compression). And how the distance can induce a forced perspective.
Takeaway. For the most accurate “Which size is best” post. Use the 3x lens at a natural viewing distance. And for photos that make your nose looks smaller also use a zoom with a bit more distance 😉
