YouTube App update to new version (2.06) a couple of days ago and seems to have a bug. Every single time I start a video it plays in a very low resolution of 144 to 360. If I change to Auto it just selects the low resolution. I can manually select 1080 and it will play in 1080 as long as I don't stop or play another video. It then reverts back to a low resolution. There is nothing I see in settings to default to 1080. Are others now having this problem with the updated YouTube App and is there a fix?

Plays fine on Mac and LG TV App (3ed pic).

Just get a cheap 4K streaming box that supports YouTube better instead of screwing around with Apple TV. The amount of time and effort/frustration isn’t worth it. I like my Apple TV, but the YouTube experience is so poor, I just use the built in YouTube app for the rare occasions that I watch YouTube on the big screen.
