iPhone YouTube airplay buggy

Anyone noticed that YouTube is a buggy mess when using AirPlay?

ios14 and newest updates but it flickers, the video progress bar never moves, video stops when the phone sleeps. It’s awful.

Yes. Same issue here. It started after upgrading to IOS 14 & TVOS 14... Based on the other threads on the same topic it seems to be only affecting YouTube Airplay.
