I'm posting this here because I never noticed this problem on other computers I've used, but whenever I watch Youtube or any other type of video that uses Flash, the quality is terrible, mainly because of the very noticable crackling that happens regularly. Most recently the Cycloramic video on the main page of MacRumors does it. I have no problem watching downloaded movies or listening to music via iTunes, it's just Youtube/Vimeo/etc, on Safari or on Firefox, and it's just since I started using a rMBP. The only other hardware I have to compare against is my iPhone 4S, which does not crackle when playing the same videos. I tried doing a Google search on the problem and had no luck. Anyone else have or hear about this problem, and might possibly be able to direct me to a solution?
I have a low-end-CPU 15" rMBP with 16GB RAM, using 10.8.2 with all updates applied, Safari 6.0.2, Flash version 11.5.502.136.
