What is Youtube up to now,
when just scrolling through my feed, I see thumbnails autoplaying, without me hovering over them, or clicking them.
The worse thing is they end up in my history, and mess up my feed with all kinds of crap.

Anybody else experiencing this ?

Have also noticed YouTube doing this on random videos when my cursor is opposite side of the page. I don't mind hover to preview being on. It would probably sort the random plays out by turning that setting off, though the wording on the settings toggle is "Video previews will play when you hover over thumbnails." Maybe it's a bug on the hover setting that's making videos play without the user's mouse actually being over them? 🤷‍♂️

With Youtube it is never a bug, always a "nice new feature"

I had to toggle the thumbnail preview off, it made my timeline a real mess
