Disclaimer: when I say Bluetooth lag, I am referring to a noticeable delay in audio that a regular user would notice. I am well aware that all Bluetooth headphones have some form of lag, usually Not noticeable by a regular user.
I have 3 Bluetooth audio devices. 1 device is a $20 pair of Bluetooth headphones. These work great. No noticeable lag in the YouTube app or in safari. I have a $50 pair of headphones that lag in the YouTube app but play perfectly when watching YouTube through safari. I then have a Sony Bluetooth speaker. This also lags when using the YouTube app but is perfect when playing YouTube off safari.
I have 2 ios devices. A iPhone se which is fully up to date and an iPad air 2 which is on ios 10. Both devices have the exact same issues with all 3 Bluetooth devices.
How come my cheap and nasty $20 Bluetooth headphones work perfectly but my slight less cheap and nasty headphones and my sony speakers have issues. I have also heard of very expensive headphones having the exact same issue.
What's the go??? It has to be a YouTube software issue surely. And I'm surprised not more people are pissed off by this!!
