I've given up asking on the youtube-dl github for help - in summary they dismiss you for asking a stupid question then close and lock the thread so you can't respond.
So, as my TenFourFoxBox streams 3gp video through Realplayer but vanilla youtube-dl no longer sees the 3gp files for whatever reason, I've tried impletenting the --user-agent switch at the command line to reach them.
Inserting the user agent used in TFFB the line reads like this:
youtube-dl --user-agent "NokiaN90-1/3.0545.5.1 Series60/2.8 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1" -F (youtube url)
But all this does is present the same available video formats as it would if I didn't provide a user agent.
Is there anyone with experience of youtube-dl that can shed light on this?
