I wonder if anyone out there could solve why Youtube is practically unusable on my iphone when connected to my home network (takes ages to download a small clip even stopping halfway through), yet runs fine on other peoples wifi and also fine via 3G. (all when using Youtube app)
I've tweaked just about every setting possible including:
Network channel (I've tried them all with no increase in download speed)
Rebooting the phone (obviously)
Changed between ADSL 1 and 2 modems (no change)
Sat with iphone next Airport extreme base station. (no change)
Changed all password/WEP protection etc. (no change)
Opened firewall. (no change)
And its not the phone firmware as it has been unusable on every version so far.
I'll gladly buy a drink for the person who solves this!!...its very annoying!
