I am making a video for a friend that is running way longer then my typical 3-5 min muisc videos. He wants it at 30 min, so I will have to split it up right?
My next one is more hypothetical,
Say I wanted to put the whole video 2hrs and 40mins long. Would I just break them down to 10 min. each and have them "movie part 1", "movie part 2", and so on? (who knows what people will want)
Looking for any tricks for long videos. Like I said I only use YouTube for what typical videos, so this is a little out of my realm. Plus is there a better way then using QT Pro and just making a "web" version? Obviously I want the best picture with the lowest use of storage, I know I will not have the best picture so whatever suggestions, help, or new apps would be appreciated.

Thanks so much

Vimeo allows upto 500mb per week and I personally think of it to be higher quality.

No limit on length asides from that, so you'll have to compress the file enough to keep it under 500mb.
