YouTube freezes until I move the cursor

dear MR peeps,

I recently got the new MBA. I noticed that randomly YouTube videos will freeze until I move the mouse cursor. This would then happen every few seconds until I restart the Mac.

any idea why this is and how I can eliminate this annoyance?
