I just got a Macbook Pro 13" and one of the problems is when i view a HD video on YouTube, during playback it stops and starts constantly.. Is this a connection problem and if so are there any ways i can enhance it? Or is there a way to change some settings from within the OS?

I am connected to my home wifi network and it works great for everything else. Regular YouTube videos playback fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the connection.

I was figuring the same because i would have the same problem with my Dell.

Perhaps i should bump up to Verizon FIOS instead of their regular DSL which is what i have.

Yeah, I think DSL might have a problem with streaming HD. You might want to give it a minute to buffer first.

That's exactly what it does which is constantly buffer throughout the video.. I just don't think DSL connections are fast enough for HD videos on YouTube.

Could it be my wifi router?? Its about 2 or 3 years old.

No, the router is faster than the DSL.

How fast is your DSL connection? DSL can pull over 50 Mb/s in some cases, which is more than enough for YouTube.
