I have a few videos up on youtube. They all have the option to view in high quality. But is it possible to set the videos to display in high quality by default?

That is an option for the viewer to use, not the author as an FYI.

Any option that should exist to set that would be in your personal settings for how you view videos.

I think yourtube only has this as a viewer option, so that people in other countries that do not have fast connection won't spend half an hour trying to watch you 30 second high quality clip.

The only thing that is an issue with setting your viewing to High Quality is that if you delete cookies and history from your browser...you have to reset it all over again. It's not a saved setting on your actual profile!

Courtaj i have also been using Vimeo. Its an outstanding video community but just doesnt get the same traffic. So what i have been doing is uploading the same video on YouTube and Vimeo and making a link from the YouTube video to Vimeo in the notes.
