YouTube for mobile devices
//I've tested it on my iPad and it works!

- open Safari on your iOS device and log on m.youtube.com
- slide all the way down and click on "Desktop" link (it'll show YouTube as you see it on your PC)
- all the way down again and click on "Try something new"
- click on "HTML5" icon
- click on "Activate HTML5"
- done!

NOTE: if a green square shows up at the right telling you that you are watching YouTube on a light version, click on "Permanently"

BTW... I'm not 100% sure of the text links because I wasn't watching it in english (but follow your instincts)

Update
not every video is available on HTML5 (VEVO videos for example), so you still won't see all videos.

FYI
if you accidentally click on VEVO banner, it will automatically send you to the app store and if you try to open Safari again it will resend you to the app store so you won't be able to use Safari again.

but don't worry, if that happens you don't have to restore your iPad... just go to
Settings\Safari\Enable JavaScript
and disable it.

now you are able to remove that tab and enable JavaScript back.

Cool thanks!

Nice one buddy.

Will be better when they have every video though. I've now had three that are asking me for Flash to be installed.

weird thing has happened to me...
as you can see on the video, I was able to reproduce the "Radiohead - Lotus flower" video which I could never do on the mobile version or the iOS YouTube app (at least on VEVO or the Radiohead's official channel).

Now I try to reproduce this one on the desktop version and I can't
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkNid5BwVl4
but if I try it on the iOS app then I can

or if I change the "www." for the "m." (Safari) like this:
http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=WkNid5BwVl4
I also can.

it makes no sence!
