Youtube landscape glitch

Whenever I start a video in YouTube and turn the phone to landscape mode it glitches in the beginning and starters. Has anybody else seen this?

youtube isnt updated for ios 8 or iphone 6/+ still, google isnt exactly the fastest when it comes to updating

Is that why it does it? Wasn't sure if it was ios8 thing or what.

The YouTube app has been pretty terrible for the last three months. Scrubbing through a video is a pain.

I hope they give it an overhaul and start from scratch.

Does anyone get the overlapping texts on the top in portrait mode?

where the status bar is with battery etc? yes. but only when i partially start to minimize the video screen then stop mid way its easy to reproduce but also easy to prevent & doesnt happen by default at least
