Youtube on new MBP ?

Hello guys,

So just got my first Mac (13, i7) and please bear with me, i'm a computer noob BUT :

I can't seem to be able to play Youtube videos or online tv channel videos
I tried to download and install the flash player from Adobe, but nothing changes, I get this message :

Upgrade to Flash Player 10 for improved playback performance

Can anybody help with this?

You installed the downloaded file, right? Not just downloaded?
If yes: Did you restart safari/firefox/etc. after installing?

This is word for word what you have to do.

Google "Flash Player" -> Download -> Install.

im having the same problem, ive downloaded and installed it 10 times + closed and opened safari... and i still cant view any flash

You can use Chrome which has flash already installed. I'd recommend one to one for you as well.

Try rebooting.

Get alternate browsers and try again.
