YouTube Safari

I often have a problem with YouTube on my iMac

it loads the site, but where the video is supposed to be, there's just a black box with no controls. Just plain black.

Kill safari ?? It always work with chrome.

Only reason I stick with safari is, that i can make the bookmark line text only. You cant do that on chrome and I hate the mess with the logos :-/

Is it safari that hates Youtube because it's google ? Or what can be wrong.

Try switching on the HTML5 version of Youtube instead of flash.

In that case you should upgrade flash on your computer. Get the latest version from adobe.com, or use Chrome to view Youtube since it uses its own flash plug-in.
