youtube safarii downloading question?????mp4

hi there well i have safari 4 i a couple of moments i download videos using the activity window i dwonload the videos automatically into .mp4 but all of the suddent it download now into flv how can i change it back to mp4

Youtube videos are .flv files.

To play them, just use VLC player.

Maybe you were adding .mp4 at the end of the file name? That wouldn't change the file type, but it'd show .mp4 *shrug*

nope i wasen't adding nothing went it was done saving quicktime open automatically too

You can use a website like keepvid.com to download it directly into .mp4.

thanks for the website but i just figuered it out when you donwload the file in normal quality it will save in FLV but i you press the HQ or HD it will save in mp4 quality
