Youtube slow on Iphone 4

Just wondering if I'm the only one having this issue. I try to use the Youtube app and it's very slow. The video starts then stops, then starts back, stops etc.

This has been an issue for me on wifi as well as on 3G.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with youtube?

Not sure of the cause but I had the same issue when I was jailbroken. Finally got rid of the jailbreak and went to stock 4.3.5 and YouTube worked perfectly. Now running iOS 5 and YouTube is good to go. Hope someone here can help though.

I believe the app uses the hd videos so if your connection is slow it will buffer all the time. If you go to YouTube via the browser it's quicker as you can choose to view videos in sd. At least that worked for me

Ok...gonna give it a try.

I know with Android, you could select the format in which you wanted to watch the video HD etc. Do the Apple Youtube app have a similair option?
