Youtube slow on mac SOLUTION

I have recently had problems with my battery and have been using a windows laptop for the past month, enjoying youtube videos with perfect clarity. Having been used to my mac's slow buffer speed, jumpy, frozen out of sync videos. So I was surprised to learn that it wasn't my internet speed. I got my new battery for my mac and obviously switched back (powerbook g4) and went about searching for the reason youtube was so shoddy compared to the windows lappy I had been using..I came across this forum and countless others with people having the same issue, but with no remedy ..or lots of people offering suggestions but no drffinate answer. Then I came across

and it worked! Not sure if it'll work on other versions of macs but here it is..the remedy to pain in the arse slow youtube vuds on a mac. well done the maker of that site!

Dont have that setting on intel Macs.

I've tried that, but a solution that works better is downloading Minitube:

I found that, because it doesn't use flash, I was able to view most of the flash videos I wasn't able to on my PowerBook G4. I really like the program!
