I switched back to Safari from Chrome. All ok - but every video on Youtube has distorted super high pitched faster sound. In Chrome the Youtube videos no problem. What kind of bug is it in Safari and how to remove it ?

I have a similar bug.
If you put a Mac to sleep with opened YouTube Safari tabs, then after waking up the sound may be broken (in the case of a Mac mini m4pro, sound slows down and lower in pitch, in the case of a MacBook on M1 Pro, the sound pitch increases and speeds up). Restarting Safari helps. The problem occurs only when connecting an external monitor (of course, an external monitor is always connected to the Mac mini and the bug occurs more often). It looks like a problem with the sound driver via video cables (there are no problems when using sound cards or a jack). I still don't know, how people never restart theirs mini's after first boot, because I got this bug like 2-3 times per week.
At the same time, I have one very capricious cheap 4k "smart" TV at work that drives MacBooks crazy. If you connect a laptop to it, then any ongoing content (music, video) instantly rushes to end with terrible sounds (as if someone held down the fast forward button, but 10 times stronger). It makes no difference whether you connect via HDMI or via a Thunderbolt Dock . It happens absolutely randomly without any noticeable reasons. This bug has been around for more than three years and has appeared on different MacBook models. It is also not way to fix it, it was always literally: "okay, students, today I will not show anything on this TV"
I have the same bug but I'm not sure it's related to the Mac going into sleep mode. I don't usually use the macbook without external monitor so I can't confirm whether it happens only when connected to it. I also found that the only solution is to quit Safari and relaunch it. It sounds odd (no pun intended) that the bug has not been widely noticed and fixed yet.
