in youtube, while searching for videos, i scroll down the list of search results and the screen stops for few seconds(4~8 secs). i don't know if it's since the 2.1 update or not...

~~~~~~~~~~
few questions..
-does having alot of apps. slows down the iphone?
-when "restore"ing the iphone, does it reset the itune's(musics and videos), address, calender?
....
and when should "restore" be used?
thx in advance :)
Dude, calm down. People are just going to be pissed at you for replying to your own thread too much.
My advice for you is:
1. I wouldn't worry about it, and if you really are, Restore.
2. How many apps do you have? 20+ will slow down your phone definately.
3. When you sync your phone, it will "back up" Next time you restore, iTunes will prompt you to restore from back up, which will give you everything back.
*If you are experiencing problems with your iPhone, you can restore it's original settings by clicking restore*:)
YouTube performs awful on my iPhone. Scrolling stutters, entering text in search stutters, and the app itself takes on average of 10-20 seconds to load.
Is that via wifi mciarlo? Those r similar symptoms that I experieced except my YouTube launches within 4-5 secs
