iPhone 13 Pro Max YouTube touch sensitivity issue

Anyone else having issues after performing a YouTube search where you can’t click to watch a video unless you drag/move the screen just a bit before the app will allow you to click on a video?

Never had this issue on ios15 on my other phones, just the new one.

Yes. Well describe. I keep tapping furiously on the video I want but it won’t play. Maybe I’ll Tap on another video and that will play and sometimes I can go back and tap the video I want and then it will play. Very weird.

Noticed this too. YouTube pushed out its weekly Sunday update and so far I haven’t experienced it.

Unless you’re paying google buxola every month to remove ads, the YouTube app is a loser (and a loser if you’re paying google too).

Try viewing YouTube content in the Brave browser. No ads and everything works good. Also can save vids for offline viewing (but not sharing).

If you like Brave, delete the YouTube app otherwise every YouTube link you click on will open in that blasted YouTube app.

Yeah. I just updated a few minutes ago and restarted the app…problem still exists.
Go into your search history and choose a previous search term and try clicking on a video. Do this 2-3 times with different search terms. Mine still has issues. ??

Yes!!! I was going to report this issue to see if other had the problem but you beat me to it!

Definitely seems to be a iOS bug Google needs to fix with YouTube.

As a work around when it happens if you go to another app in your recent app, then go back to YouTube search results, then it lets you click on the video to play.

Getting the same. Only in YouTube so assume it’ll be fixed soon.
