hey,

i've been using glimmer blocker for a long time, but ever since i've updated to 10.9, youtube video ads seem to get through. i don't know if these are related, but that is the only difference done to my machine.
I'm using glimmer blocker as instructed (blocking 2mdn.net) but that's no good.
would appreciate any help on this

Maybe you could use a different web browser for watching youtube videos. Not an ideal solution but it does work.

Youtube has ads on Videos?

oh.. if you watch the FLASH videos.
Change your youtube settings watch videos in HTML5, there is also the extension youtube5.

Do those two, and you will never see an ad on youtube.
Unless they start doing HTML5 ads.. I have not seen them yet though.

Just been having this problem. Then I noticed that Mavericks upgrade had wiped my proxy settings. Reinstall Glimmerblocker if you haven't already then make sure your HTTP proxy is pointing to localhost and the Glimmerblocker proxy port number (8228 in my case).

The history tab should now show GB is working again.
