YouTube videos lags every 18.5 seconds in Safari

I have a bizarre lagging situation; Every 18.5 seconds the picture freezes for a fraction of a second, but the audio stills play. Extremely disturbing.

I have tested in Chrome and Firefox, and there it works without any problems.
I hav turned off extensions (Adblock and Vinegar) to no avail.

MBP 14" with Ventura 13.2.

Any ideas? 🤔

Maybe because Private Relay counts as a VPN, and there are issues with VPN sometimes. That is why I don't use them.

I thought this was the answer – I'm doing a lot of client work through various VPN's.

But I can't reproduce this error anymore!?

Hmmm... Next time I see it, I'll check my relays and VPN's.
