iPad YouTube vids in google news not working?

hi all I have a quick question when browsing google news sometimes there are youtube vids and if you click them they expand and play the YouTube video but I noticed that hasn't worked for sometime is there a fix?
I am currently on a ipad 3 latest ios using safari.
