For those of you who already have iOS six, did Apple includes the YouTube app? And if so, how is it compared to the current iteration of the YouTube app?

For those of you who already have iOS six, did Apple includes the YouTube app? And if so, how is it compared to the current iteration of the YouTube app?

The app was removed in the 5th beta.
It is not in the GM.
It sucked compared to the Google Youtube app in my opinion. It was not updated in years.

Oh crap. Now I'll have to use the mobile YouTube site, which also sucks. Hopefully, Google comes up with a better YouTube app soon.

They released a new one a couple of days ago. I was speaking about the Apple supplied one being crap, compared to the new Google one released a couple of days ago.

There is already an official YouTube app. It's in the market. I downloaded it today. It was supposedly available starting Tuesday.

Okay, I saw it. But it's only for the iPhone and iPod touch. I watch more YouTube videos on my iPad, and I hope Google comes out with a universal app soon.

Off topic - But I hope that google more than ever releases a smacking google maps app. Cuz im my part of the world (peshawar, pakistan) after 10 years google has managed to get enough information on there to be helpful to us here. I have no idea if where I live will even show streets on the maps and not just a big grey box. Can someone confirm?

We can only guess. I would bet Apple would approve a Google Maps, we will have to wait and see.

I did not zoom in, but you're right it looks better in Google. I don't think Apple can catch up in the mapping department overnight. Give them time.

Thanks mobster! The sat images look pretty slick. Road signs are missing but I guess thats expected in this part of the world!
