Can anyone explain why on my blackbook, youtube's fullscreen function is fluid, whereas on my PC, after hitting fullscreen another page comes up and the video starts from the beginning again?

does it have to do with google's partnership with apple?

or am i missing the boat entirely? pls advise.

Which browser(s) are you using? Have you tried other browsers?

i use firefox for both my mac and pc. and they are both the updated firefox versions. for my mac, the full screen is beautiful and seamless, where u just push esc to minimize the full screen. the pc still uses the old technology, which is crap compared to the mac version.

I don't want to say this, but...what about in IE, or even Opera?

psycho i just checked youtube on internet explorer, and it does the same... opens up a new window to show fullscreen, and starts at the beginning of the video.

any other ideas?

It's probably a Mac only feature (it's a new one too, but I get it too), Mac users are used to things opening where you left off (ie DVD Player for DVD's, Preview for PDF's), so it's consistant.
