So I've posted a couple videos on youtube here, but I'm not sure what app to use to record them. I feel like PhotoBooth has a lot better quality, but when I try to import it into iMovie and then upload it to youtube, the quality decreases. I've also tried recording with iMovie, but it's still not as good quality. Here's a video that I used PhotoBooth for:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoWwBDgHEjg

And here's one that I used iMovie on:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDhw3jj_e0Y

I'm not sure if it's how I'm importing to iMovie or sizing. So if anyone could answer my questions or link to a guide that would be much appreciated. TIA!

It looks almost as though you weren't in as much lighting in the iMovie video than you were when using Photobooth. iSight can be weird with lighting. You move or tilt your computer just a tiny bit and iSight will adjust weirdly.

It also might have to do with how you exported in iMovies "HD" to youtube.

From what I've seen and experimented with in using iSight and youtube: When in doubt, use more light.

Hmmm OK. I think the sun was going behind clouds and stuff, so this time I tried to use more light like you said. Hopefully this will solve the problem. Thanks!
