iPod touch You've gotta be kidding! . . . Warranty info?

So I come home to visit my parents for the weekend and we drive down to Ohio to see some relatives. Long story short, I accidently leave my iPod Touch in the garage after I finished helping out with some yard work. I come back an hour later to find my 7 year old cousin with a circle shaped magnet in one hand and an iPod in the other So yeah, it doesn't turn on nor does my computer recognize. Tried putting it in DFU mode - nothing. I still have about a month and a half left on the standard 1-year warranty... Will Apple replace it?

As long as they cannot tell why it is unexplainably not doing anything, they should replace it.

Do you have accident insurance?

The damage should be covered by the liability insurance of your uncle/aunt, if they have one. (You're forced to have a liability insurance where I live, but that could be different in the US.)
