Z5500 speakers won't turn on after 10 seconds of use

The fuse isn't blown. I just got them today, hooked everything up, and hit the power button on the pod. Everything was fine until I switched the input to optical digital-in. It just shut off and won't turn back on. The subwoofer is getting power... the control pod isn't.

Is it already time to return these?
