was going to post something about this as well.
seem pretty gimmicky to me. what's up with the weird 90* angle at the 'button' loop? and what makes these any less prone to tangle than another headphone? and how many 'cord management beads' do you need?
the video is just absolutely retarded.

They're from ZAGG? No thank you. Good luck having them fixed/replaced/returned when they break...their customer service is truly a joke.

I hear both of your posts, as I'm still waiting for a IS for my 30GB iPod Classic/Video from MWSF '08. IS had a booth and put IS on my iPhone b/c I traded the Marware Case for a FREE IS, so I did the same with my iPod and they didn't have any more IS for the iPod, so they told me to email them my info and almost a year later, I've received 5 emails from ZAGG and they haven't sent my IS for my iPod yet!!! If I ever receive my IS for my iPod, I might consider their Z Buds, but not before then...

I can count 7 places where the cabling will crack and wires fray.

I don't understand why no one is reinforcing their headphone cords. It maddening.

those do look pretty cool.
i wonder how the volume control wheel is. if it can get moved around if it bumps into things, how accessible it is. i wish it was a clicker control rather than wheel...

please report back here if anyone has any personal reviews on em.

here's the manufacturer website:

Me too. I'm really interested in mic'd in-ears that are more durable, as I prefer if possible to just use one set of earphones between all my iPods and they tend to get beaten up, particularly with running but even without, and they always fail by shorted wire at the plug junction or at one of the buds.

Thanks, but... I'm not really comfortable using $150 earbuds for running. Even if they don't break (for which I do hope), they get grimy. :( I could buy $15 earbuds every three months for several years at that price!

My interest in the Zagg's is based upon the hope that, if they retail for $65-75, they might be available online for $40-50 at some point in the near future. :D

Z.buds broken after 2 weeks ! No warranty!

I have had mine for a bit over 2 weeks now and the cheap plastic buds split in half.

As I have read many posts, it seems to be a common issue, therefore in my mind it looks like a factory defect.

I contacted Zagg support and they will not replace them as they are 5 days out of the 30 day warranty. I live in Australia and although they took 2 weeks to arrive, they count the order date as the start of warranty !!

I will rate these as very average headsets, although sound quality is not bad, it’s not something to rave about !!
