Tried out Zagg Invisible Shield Glass for the first time on my new iPhone 6.
Got it two weeks ago, the side, the bottom and around the home buttom already started chipping..
I have not dropped my phone once. Besides tossing it onto my couch.
I try to keep it on soft surface and even when I don't, it's not like I put it on my table with much force. I avoid putting it face down too.
Are they that vulnerable??
Is anybody else experiencing the same problem?
I know I have life time warranty with the product, but is this going to happen to my future replacements too?
Yeah, they aren't that obvious. But I spent more than 40 bucks on this?

I believe they have warranty; if it gets bad enough, couldn't you return it for a new one?

Like I said in my original post....
I know I have life time warranty with Zagg products.
But it's been barely 2 weeks and it's chipping everywhere already.
I've been so careful with it does it mean I'm gonna need a replacement every few weeks?

I owned the Zagg Glass SP for my iPhone 5. I had it on for 6 months before I replaced it, and that was only bc I got a replacement phone courtesy of Apple Care +. I also got those minor chips on the sides, but they were infrequent and for me didn't warrant a replacement. For the OCD types You might replace week to week, lol.

I was really disappointed with the fitment of the Zagg Glass, which I purchased and returned after applying and seeing that it didn't go near the edges of the phone.

I am kinda OCD..
I think I'm just a bit unhappy about the quality for how much I paid towards it.
I don't like the fit either but I wanted to try out a tempered glass screen protector after hearing all the rave reviews.

.....jeesh - I'm glad I never went this screen shield - it barely covers the actual LCD part of the screen + them cutouts are truly hideous!!!:eek:

All iphone 6 and plus screen protectors are going to "Barely cover" the actual part of the LCD screen. Its because the curved glass will prevent the protector from adhering leading to peeling/breaking.

Unless you go the "colored border" screen protector route, which every one I've seen is just yuck.

Blame apple for the screen, not the screen protector manufacturers.

Having the same issue. As mentioned in another post I have the Zagg Glass on my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 version feels thiner and I have also noticed that the edges on the 6 version will crack easy. I have already had to do 3 replacements through their lifetime warranty.

I have had mine on since launch day and don't have any chip at all. I had one on my 5S for 9 months without chipping.

Maybe you just got a bad one.

$5.99 and return the old one is the warranty price...if you didn't know.

I went through two of them on my 6+. Only kept them for a couple of days and didn't see any chipping. I hated the poor fit and the looks. Tossed them out and moved on to a skin type protector. At least it fits edge to edge....

I got 2 tempered glass protectors from Verizon right after launch; one for me and one for the wife. No issues so far although like all the others, leaves lots of margin space. Price is only $24.99

Did you try the HDX version?

Went through two already and both chipped around the week mark, more or less. Won't buy another or pay for shipping on a replacement again since their support hasn't responded to me since my initial inquiry.

Mine on my 6+ from launch is working great and aligned nearly perfectly on screen and no chipping here.

A coworker of mine on her 6 is chipping so I told her to swap it out and exchange at store. No drops as well just I think her bag caused it as case lip didn't go up a bit to protect it (naked touch casemate on mine)

6

I got a free Zagg glass shield and a cheapy case/holster from Best Buy Mobile on release date for my 6 since it took them HOURS to get me out of there (4+ hours) due to some stupid carrier issue.

That being said, I have no chipping on my protector at all, and the lady who put it on did a fantastic job of aligning the protector. It looks as good as can be expected without reaching edge to edge.
