So best buy put this one but it's got this orange peel look to it and I think either it's not on write or it's just something people tolerate.
I think I'm not going to tolerate this though.

I got the Zagg on release and from day one I did not like it at all. The orange peel effect was obvious and I always had kind of a rainbow streaking that was very obvious and took away from the retina display. I put on a boxwave protector yesterday which unfortunately due to the way it was cut did not sit flush around the front camera. Have asked to have a replacement sent and I am hoping that one sits cleaner. But I was very disappointed in the Zagg product.
If you had rainbow streaking, it wasn't dry yet.
those rainbow streaking won't go away even if it's dried, at least mine stayed like that![]()
I'm really torn on the Zagg products. I bought the maximum coverage for the iPad and only left the screen cover on for a few days before I switched to the Power Support.
The plastic feel of the Zagg stuff really turns me off, but I like the protection it offers.
I have my iPhone fully wrapped right now as I wait for a case that I like. yeah it has orange peel pretty bad and I hate the feeling but I just feel like the thing is so fragile it needs something.
What is the closest thing to power support anti glare or similar for iphone 4? ie. without liquid and no orange peel?
I don't know why anyone would put up with that hideous orange peel when there's much better alternatives out there. I also don't know why anyone would pay $25 for a Zagg when Best Skins Ever has the exact same product for $7.99. I think it's just because Zagg is widely available and most people don't bother searching for alternatives.

Because, as I said, when installed properly, the "orange peel" look that you talk about is only visible when light reflects off of it at an angle, and that doesn't bother me in the slightest bit.

Wrapsol Ultra is a dry application and NO orange peel.
I disagree. I found that the orange peel was very obvious in any light, at any angle.
Can anyone enlighten me on what orange peel effect is, i'm assuming it's a wrinkled look, but why would it have a wrinkled look if the screen protector is smooth????
Wrapsol does have an orange peel effect as well. See my picture showing this on the Wrapsol Ultra thread.
