The sales guy at the Best Buy Mobile store today was rocking the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD HD on the screen of his iPad, along with the regular version on the back. The HD version looked like clear glass, almost like there was nothing on the screen at all. I had the clear-coat full body protection on my old iPhone 4. Good praises with clear-coat...no orange peel effective like the regular ZAGG version, smooth and not sticky or rubbery with just enough grip. The HD version seems comparible to clear-coat. I am going to pair one of these with the Apple Smart cover. Which one do you all prefer?

I picked up the hd versions for my gs3 and iPad 3 today. Put on the gs3 and was disappointed. Was going to return the iPad one but decided to give it a shot. WOW. Big difference. I guess I just needed some practice. Very very impressed with the hd.

I use a smart cover and an incipio feather at work. No experience with the clear coat.

If the hd is installed right,IMHO it can't be beat.

The one thing that I liked about clear-coat is that it was not as sticky as the regular zagg version. Zagg HD is sold only for the screen. It's like glass and not sticky at all. The regular zagg version is used for the back, which may be too sticky for my liking. With that being said, I am leaning towards clear-coat because of the less stickiness factor.

Haven't used either. I prefer the slight antiglare offered by the SGP ultrafine but I don't think I'd care for it on the iPad 3 as it does slightly impact image quality. What I or others prefer doesn't matter. It's what you prefer that matters. Screen protector preference is subjective.
