ZAGGmate borders - aren't they troublesome

Fey days ago I got my cheap chinese leather casing with a silicon keyboard for iPad. After I found that this "gadget" is a real piece of ****, I am looking for other keyboard.

Seems like ZAGGmate could be the real one, but what about those tiny borders? Aren't they bad for typing experience
