I believe (and all beliefs are chains) that this is likely a design/hardware problem (although I always reserve the right to be completely wrong), and that apple has handled it badly.
Mine is in Anchorage right now, and I'm looking forward to getting it.
Did not cancel, despite the above.
I will make it work the way I need it to work (I have a case waiting for it, and other ideas up my sleeve...oooh that's a weird metaphor).
Depending on how that goes, I will return it, or keep it until they........and I believe (oooh there's that again) that apple will......make it right, one way or the other. If even, only eventually.
Most everyone here, on both sides of the "issue", is correct, from their own point of view.
One can be confident in their own judgment and choice, and still accept the validity of other's (not sure where that apostrophe goes.....damn apostrophes).
In fact, it strengthens your position to accept that an issue is rarely black or white, and that your "opposition" MAY have a point.
Usually the more defensive you are, the weaker your position.

Those that think they don't know everything are smarter than those who do.

Don't yell at me.
Have a good weekend.
