zip.cpgz files?

I downloaded animation shop and got everything successfully but when i double clicked on the zip it just turned into a cpgz file. what is that? How do i get my program to work? I haven't really used a mac before and have no idea what files work on them...

Change the extension from ZIP to RAR. If that fails, try the extension SIT. Have these applications handy:

Did you download Animation Shop from a torrent? Are you sure the download was completed before you tried double-clicking the .zip file?

And I have to ask, are you asking use for help with pirated software?

Try UnArchiver - free program; worked for this new Mac user who was having the same difficulty with cpgz file creating zip file creating cpgz file and round and round.
