A applefan69 macrumors 6502a Oct 9, 2007 663 148 Oct 5, 2008 #2 I dont believe you can be basic, OS X gui built-in archiver functionality. im sure its possible if you archive the file using terminal, but that would require you to know the proper commands and yeah most likely wont be user-friendly. I recommend you simply use a third party application... I'll also suggest http://www.yellowmug.com/yemuzip/ Yemuzip.
