ZiPhone 2.6b is OUT!

i am one of the only people in the world who still can't seem to be successfull with this!

I have an 8gb iPod touch bought in November 07.

I downloaded the new ZiPhone, click on Jailbreak iTouch and then it gets stuck on the SPAMMING AT spot.

Then I gotta restore.

Im pretty confused and desperate.

Go to File in Menu Bar and select - Clear NVRAM
 
do you have to have a wireless connection for this to work? I'm at work right now but no wireless connection
 
no, just need to download the software on to your mac or pc and hook the ipod up to the comp
 
ok, i'm jailbroken again!!!

Do you have to load the bsd program from the installer if you used the ziphone jailbreak?

don't restore. The first thing you want to do EVEN BEFORE syncing is to install the BSD within the installer of your newly jailbroken touch. I did a sync before installing the BSD and the BSD never loaded. Read on ziphone.org that many have had the same problem.

alrite so i still cant do it someone help me out


ok so i downloaded the new 2.6b ziphone plugged my ipod touch 1.14 in then i clicked jailbreak(iphone or itouch) it did everything right then it said wait 45 i did nothing happened so i went to click clear nvram and on the computer it said
Loading zibri.dat
ppc
searching for ipod....

and thats it thats all it says nothing else ever happens and the bsd root message is still stuck on my ipod and what is the bsd stuff you have to download?
 
Is there some sort of walkthrough available for this version of ziphone who has never jailbroken their device before (16 GB)?

ok i tried somehting different, i pushed the jailbreak for ipod touch button it seemd to work perfectly and it said please wait 45, but on my ipod touch it says

spamming at, waiting for a response... what do i do

im going to try clicking on the clear nvram and see what happens..............................

ok im going to try one last thing im going to click clear nv... before i do the jailbreak hopefully that works cuz one of you said that a couple replys above me but **** now i gotta restore my ipod again for the 100th time
 
Hello, I'm having trouble with this, when I try to install BSD subsystem version 2.0 from system folder, in the installer app, it downloads like 3/4 of the way and then says Error Package download failed! Don't I have to download this before syncing? If it is necessary what should I do to get it to work so I can sync music etc. :confused:
