I have some questions before i jailbreak 1.1.4

Will i have to restore even though im on a non jailbroken 1.1.4?
Will I get the january apps back If i choose to restore from JB 1.1.4?

No.

Yes after you do a sync, maybe two. I also purchased the updates and they came right back.

Let me repeat my first answer NO, as long as the Touch is NOT already jailbroken.

It will take about 1 minute total. Have fun.
