My boss and I work remotely since he lives in Bermuda. He has a MAC and since I use a PC I cannot answer his questions. He says he cannot open a .zip file no matter what he does. Should he download winzip? Does that work on MAC? Thx.

While Mac OS has an unzip utility built it, a lot of people just download the free app The Unarchiver in addition/instead of the system version since The Unarchiver will handle a lot more file types. Just drag a zip file onto it and he should be good to go.

Is the zip archive password-protected? Mac OS X's built in utility for compressed archives can't handle these. Use The Unarchiver instead, like the previous poster suggested.

I had a real media file archived and was told that this is a unsopported document and it would not open.
