I just got a new Zire 71 but I'm having troubles syncing it with iCal. Every time I try a hot sync, I get the message in iSync saying Synchronization Failed. My contacts will go through to the Palm, but none of my iCal info will.
I've tried uninstalling everything - Palm Desktop, iSync, and Apple's Palm Conduit for iSync, but when I reinstall same thing happens.
Anybody know what I should do? I've scoured every help file and knowledge base article I can find, with no luck, and I'm running all the latest versions of the relevant software. I've even tried both the version of Palm Desktop that came with the unit, and a version freshly downloaded from Palm's website.
This is the first Palm device I have used in many years. I'm syncing over USB to my PowerBook 867 (15"). OS 10.2.5 is up and I have no other apps or background utilities running when I try to hotsync.
I have no other devices attached to iSync. When I try a fresh install of Palm Desktop without the iSync conduit, everything works fine between Palm Desktop and the Zire. Problem is, I want to use iCal, not Palm Desktop as my PIM.
Any guidance would be much appreciated!
